First Impressions of Blogging and Blogger

My first thoughts of the example blogs is that the writers are very witty and charming. It wasn't the topic that hooked me on a blog, it was the tone. The best writers could ramble on about mini eggplants and I was glued to the screen even though I am not a fan of eggplants! Why? because they're witty, charming and have a way of sprinkling in visuals and word choices that feel less like reading and more like being wrapped up in a story. That's the kind of magic that makes you forget you didn't even care about the eggplants in the first place - you just wanted more of their voice.

My relationship with blogs have been fairly one-sided: I read them. Fitness, travel, home DIY and food recipe blogs are what primarily interest me. It is uncharted territory for me to create my own blog. I have always dreamed of becoming a digital content creator through social media, especially in the fitness or home DIY space. Although this isn't quite the same as diving head first into social media content, thanks to this class I get to learn more about blogging through Blogger. So far Blogger seems very simple to use and easy to take one leap closer to making that dream happen!
